Students are given a great deal of responsibility and freedom to expand their engineering and computer science abilities while developing and integrating usable systems and tools for the lab.

The CATT Lab is located on the 3rd floor of the Jeong H. Kim Engineering Building (Bldg. #225), which is on the main campus of the University of Maryland. It is behind Glenn L. Martin Hall just off of Paint Branch Drive. 

Parking:
Parking is available in the Paint Branch Drive Visitor's Lot. which is directly behind our building (see the image below):


From the Capital Beltway (I-495):
  1. Take the Kenilworth Ave. South Exit (Exit 23 B).
  2. After 2 miles, turn right onto Paint Branch Parkway.
  3. Cross route 1 (Baltimore Ave) and travel onto the main campus.
  4. Take the first right onto Paintbranch Drive.
  5. At the 2nd stop sign (just past the Kim Building)  turn left.
  6. Make an immediate right into the visitor parking area.
From the College Park Metro Station (Green Line):
  1. Exit the metro station through the turnstiles.
  2. Make an immediate left and go up the stairs.
  3. At the top of the stairs you will see the UM Shuttle Bus Stop.  Take the UM Shuttle bus to campus.
  4. Get off at the first campus stop, which will be directly in front of the Glenn L. Martin Institute of Technology. 
  5. Walk back towards the entrance to campus. 
  6. Turn Left onto Paint Branch Drive.  At the first stop sign, the Kim Engineering Building will be on your left.
