The Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Laboratory (CATT Lab) was featured on CNN, NPR, and ABCNews.com for its role in providing situational awareness and transportation management tools to FEMA, DHS, the US Secret Service, the US Army, and numerous emergency operations centers throughout the National Capital Region. The tools, including the Regional Integrated Transportation Information System and a 4D-real-time transportation visualization system were used before, during, and after the presidential inauguration.
